Modernizing your technology environment is my specialty. I work with organizations of all sizes and budgets to deliver scalable, future-ready solutions. When you work with me, you’re not just hiring a tech expert, you’re gaining a researcher and data strategist who understands the human side of technology. Learning by Doing, Building for Impact
From the moment I first got online, I’ve been captivated by the possibilities of technology. Now, at 40, I’ve lived through—and actively participated in—decades of digital transformation. My learning style is hands-on and immersive: I dive in headfirst, experiment, and build. This approach has allowed me to stay ahead of the curve, mastering everything from early web development to today’s cutting-edge generative AI tools. I don’t just adapt to new technologies—I thrive on them.
I follow a project-based learning model inspired by the 21st Century Learning Design (21CLD) framework, where I create real-world mini-projects to test ideas and develop solutions that benefit the broader community. I’m a self-taught expert in Microsoft 365 administration, SaaS automation, web development, and AI integration—both through cloud services and local deployments. If there’s a web app out there, I’m confident I can learn it, master it, and use it to solve meaningful problems. For me, learning isn’t just about acquiring skills—it’s about using them to make a difference.

A Digital Native with Decades of Online Experience
Having had direct access to the internet since the age of 10, I’ve grown up alongside the digital world—learning its rules, breaking a few, and ultimately understanding what it means to be a responsible digital citizen. My journey has been one of trial, error, and evolution. Now, with over 30 years of lived experience in online spaces, I don’t just use the internet—I understand it at a fundamental level. I see the web not just as a tool, but as a living, breathing ecosystem of code, culture, and community. It’s where I’ve built my career, tested my ideas, and connected with the world.
As someone who has lived and breathed the internet for decades, I’m a strong advocate for digital literacy, ethical technology use, and the protection of open access to information. I believe in the importance of digital identity frameworks—like identity blockchains—that empower individuals while preserving privacy and autonomy. I also stand firmly against the growing trend of paywalls and gatekeeping that restrict access to knowledge. The internet was built to be open, and I believe it should remain that way: a global commons where anyone, anywhere, can learn, create, and contribute without barriers.

A Community Leader with a People-First Vision
For over a decade, I’ve been deeply embedded in community leadership in Regina, Saskatchewan. From serving as a long-time member and now executive of our local community association and zone board, to advocating for safer neighborhoods and equitable access to city services, my focus has always been on empowering residents. I’ve worked to ensure that every corner of our city—regardless of postal code—has access to the same quality of life, amenities, and opportunities.
I’ve run for Regina City Council twice, finishing as a strong second-place candidate both times. My campaigns have centered on inclusive decision-making, public safety, infrastructure renewal, and grassroots social initiatives. I’ve contributed to municipal master plans on traffic, fire services, and community development, and I’ve built strong, non-partisan relationships with elected officials at every level—MPs, MLAs, City Councillors, and School Board Trustees. My approach is simple: people first, politics second. I believe in listening, collaborating, and shining a light on the issues that matter most to our communities.
Let’s Build Something Together
Whether you’re a resident with a concern, a policymaker seeking grounded community insight, or an organization looking to collaborate on a local initiative—I want to hear from you. I believe that real change starts with real conversations, and I’m always open to dialogue that leads to meaningful action.
Over the years, I’ve seen how powerful it can be when people come together with a shared goal of improving their community. Whether it’s advocating for safer streets, pushing for more inclusive public spaces, or helping residents navigate city systems, I bring a collaborative, people-first approach to every challenge. I don’t just talk about change—I work to make it happen.
If you have an idea, a concern, or a project that could benefit from a community-focused lens, let’s connect. I bring not only experience and insight, but also a deep commitment to making Regina a city where everyone feels heard, valued, and empowered. Together, we can build a more connected, equitable, and forward-thinking future for our city.

My Story, Truth, and Journey
I grew up in a single-parent, working-class household in Regina, Saskatchewan, where I learned early what it means to live paycheque to paycheque. Watching my family make tough decisions to get by taught me resilience, empathy, and the value of hard work. While my circumstances have changed, I’ve never forgotten where I came from—or the strength of those who do so much with so very little.
My path has always blended curiosity, creativity, and community. I earned both my BA (Honours) and MA in Religious Studies from the University of Regina, focusing on the intersection of society and communication technology. That research led to FaithApps.net, a project exploring how religious communities engage with smartphone apps, which was later published in Tripodos, a communications journal from Blanquerna University in Spain.
Today, I work as a trusted IT consultant—combining the analytical mindset of a social scientist, the technical fluency of a lifelong computer user, and the tenacity of someone who knows how to fight for what matters. With over 30 years of hands-on experience, I’ve built a reputation for solving complex problems, building scalable solutions, and helping people navigate the digital world with confidence. I thrive in unconventional spaces, where disciplines overlap, ideas collide, and better questions lead to better outcomes.
This is my story—one of grit, growth, and a deep commitment to using technology and community to build something better for everyone.
